Charlton Riverside rejected for ‘new town’ status that Thamesmead won

Well, it seems our neighbours across the river have nabbed some special status, but it’s a bit of a mixed bag for our neck of the woods. While Charlton Riverside didn't quite get the nod for 'new town' status this time around, it’s definitely a talking point for the area. We'll be keeping a close eye on what this means for our community going forward.
